One of the creations I made during the three months of artists residency that I spent at the Casa de Vel\u00e1zquez<\/a> (Academy of France in Madrid), from January to March 2009, was the piece Ret\u00f3rtolis<\/strong><\/em>, for women’s chorus in 3 voices dressing as pigeons.<\/p>\n

I remember that after the premiere at the Institut Fran\u00e7ais that same year, my colleagues from the administration at the Casa de Vel\u00e1zquez described the piece as “la joie de vivre”, the joy of life.<\/p>\n

It’s true that the women’s chorus Coro Entred\u00f3s<\/a> and me really enjoyed the rehearsals and premiere.<\/p>\n
