Approach to the work of women composers throughout Music History

Musicologist and singer. Founder and director of Proyecto CompositorAs and Eppure Musical Editions. Member of the "Music and Women: Gender Studies" and "Music and American Studies" commissions of the Spanish Musicology Society. Member of the Spanish Society of Musical Theory and Analysis and the Women in Music Association. Her work focuses on studying and recovering music by 19th-century women composers, especially through unpublished musical manuscripts. She has published first editions of Pauline Viardot with Hildegard Publishers and ClarNan; and directed the CD "The Unknown Pauline Viardot", awarded by the Critic's choice Metropolitan Opera Magazine as well as by musicologist Gérard Condé in Pages d'Opéra. She has also directed and recorded modern and absolute premieres of historical and contemporary women composers. She has presented her work on recovering women composers' musical heritage at the Cervantes Institute at Harvard University; New York University; Cádiz Spanish Music Festival; II Isabel Biennial of Music.
