VALENCIA: Piano Impro on Silent Movie

The Valencia Filmoteca, in collaboration with the Valencia Animation Film Festival, presents my piano improvisation for the first animated feature film in history:
The Adventures of Prince Achmed by German author Lotte Reiniger.

Not only is it the first animated feature film, but it’s also European and the work of a woman!

The author created the film by hand, manually cutting out each cardboard figure, achieving detailed silhouettes that come to life through stop-motion animation.

A true work of art.
