A great honor to have a library with my name! From 20th-22nd October 2022 we’ll have a series of concerts and workshops to celebrate the opening of the SONIA MEGÍAS LIBRARY in Granada, at the south of Spain!
In this library you can find all my books and materials from my years of studying and teaching music, and also many new books that contain my music.
I deeply thank María José and Cristobal, directors of Conservatorio Orfeo in Granada, for this great detail!

Concert/talk of Sonia Megías’ whole production for piano

The National Auditorium of Music has programmed pianist Rosa Torres-pardo in this tribute to Alicia de Larrocha.
The program includes my piece SoLnatina, written in 2001. The piece has been played many times by Rosa’s hands around the world.
Along with my piece, others by Menndelsohn, Mompou or Soler.

March 30th, CoroDelantal MACA will premiere a proposal by composer and architect Anna Bofill. It will use the museum’s spaces and acoustics.
This season, CoroDelantal is honored to welcome composer Marisa Manchado (2024 National Music Award winner) as our guest artist. She is composing a piece for us, commissioned by MACA Museum, in which she’ll use branches and other natural elements from the area.
The premiere will be performed by the Gran CoroDelantal at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Alicante on Sunday, November 30, at 12:00 p.m.
