We’ll sing with Trío Ilca:
– Margherita Marseglia, violin
– Octavio de Juan, viola
– Cecilia Martínez, violoncello
You can have a taste of the concert by watching our most recent collaboration, that was in Santa Pola on last November 2023:

The Baluarte del Duque Auditorium, part of Santa Pola Sea Museum, hosts a great concert by Rosa Torres-Pardo. The pianist makes a tribute to Alicia de Larrocha with it.
Included in the program is my SoLnatina, a youth piece that the pianist has had in her repertoire for years.
Along with my work, others by Menndelsohn, Mompou or Soler.
After the concert, we will have a conversation with Rosa, organized by the Museum together with the Association of Students of the Superior Conservatory of Alicante.

For the first time, CoroDelantal sings inside an aquarium.
Don’t miss it!
This will be at the Town Aquarium of Santa Pola, that belongs to the Museum of the Sea.
We’ll sing to the nine fish tanks, where we can find all kinds of species coming from Santa Pola Bay:
Cantaremos a las nueve peceras, donde hay todo tipo de especies de la Bahía de Santa Pola: eels, moray eels, octopuses, groupers, sea breams, sea basses, sea urchins, anemones, starfishes, manta-rays… even some pieces of Roman archaeology!
We had the big fortune at our Museum of Contemporary Art of Alicante (MACA) of receiving historical figures from the performance art and experimental music in Spain Llorenç Barber and Montserrat Palacios.
We performed together in differents points from the building and give a talk on our projects and worries.
We are happy because we recieved a big river of audience, even if it was a Tuesday afternoon.
See you in September!
But before saying good bye, some wonderful pictures of our friend Carlos Izquierdo:
On May 11, Coro Nur (light, in Arabic), founded by great conductor José Manuel López Blanco, sings in public for the first time my piece Alzo aquí, dedicated to José Manuel to accompany him in his transit of leaving the body. Lyrics are created by Mayan shaman Gustavo Pineda, from El Salvador, and are an invocation to natural forces.
It’s very emotional for me that his contemporary music chorus, his big project, sings this special piece. I can’t be there in person, but I will in soul.
You can listen to the piece, sang by the Young People’s Chorus of Madrid, in this link.

The Musical Library of Madrid organizes this talk by Sonia Megías on CoroDelantal (aprons chorus):
‘CoroDelantal: 13 años de experimentación vocal‘ in its headquarters inside Centro Cultural Conde Duque.
Don’t miss it!
Gran CoroDelantal works this June with sculptor Susana Guerrero, for perfectioning our show Tableau sonant. Boca faringe tórax, this time in Manzanares el Real, a village in the north of Madrid that rests in astonishing mountain La Pedriza.

From this link you can see the ver el work that we did together last springtime at the Contemporary Art Museum of Alicante and the Fine Arts School of Altea.
….One of my favorite things to do in life is improvising with the piano on silent movies. Use them as a video-score for my creations. I have been doing it since 2003, at the Strade del Cinema festival (Italian Alps), for more than 20 years now, and I have often done it at the International Institute of Madrid, working on pieces from the United States.
….In this case, the Vice-rectorate for Equality, Inclusion and Social Responsibility together with the Film and Audiovisual Department of the University of Alicante, under the coordination of Israel Gil, created a LGTBIQ+ Film Festival to celebrate Pride this coming July. In it, I will play three nights: Thursday 4, Tuesday 16 and Tuesday 23.
….All sessions will be at 7:30 close to the sea, so what could be better to do after beach other than coming to the cinema?
….On Thursday, July 4, we’ll watch Different from the Rest, a German gem from 1919 that happens to be the first gay-themed film in the history of cinema. It has thought-provoking content that still feels modern today.c
