‘Gatita’ was the name I always used to call Pufi, the ‘three-hairs’ cat that followed my grandfather Pepe around the countryside and, “as she was so cute” he decided to take her home. “Female cats are good hunters”, says Pepe, and they stay at home. Male cats leave.
Pufi accompanied me for about 15 years and when she died I wrote her this intimate work, which could be listened to with closed eyes.
