ALMANSA: 20º aniversario de Tablas Teatro

In the events of the company Tablas Teatro’s 20th anniversary, for which I composed the music of La malquerida (2002) for singer and ensemble, and that of La mitad del camino (2007), for soloists, choir, orchestra and rock band, a fragment of each will be performed:
– ‘Si pudiera’
– ‘Almansaf’.

The concert will be conducted by Guillermo Ruano and will take place in the gardens of the Town Hall.

BERLIN: ‘Aria de Gea’ @ the Iberoamerican Institut

As a part of their project Women in Music, mezzosoprano Anna Tonna and pianist Isabel Pérez Dobarro perform at the Iberoamerican Institut of Berlin my Aria de Gea, part of the eco-cantata Somos naturaleza, with libretto by Eva Guillamón. You can watch some videos of the piece in this link.

GRANADA: Opening of the Sonia Megías Library

A great honor to have a library with my name! From 20th-22nd October 2022 we’ll have a series of concerts and workshops to celebrate the opening of the SONIA MEGÍAS LIBRARY in Granada, at the south of Spain!

In this library you can find all my books and materials from my years of studying and teaching music, and also many new books that contain my music.

I deeply thank María José and Cristobal, directors of Conservatorio Orfeo in Granada, for this great detail!

The Center for Sea Research (CIMAR) of Santa Pola hugs CoroDelantal Madrid and CoroDelantal MACA in an artistic residency the weekend of 11-12-13 de november.

We’ll show our work on Sunday at 5:00 pm, called ‘Rebañando la orilla’ (a word play about sheeps with bells and the sea) in wich surprising things will occur.
