Description
Pablanas, composed as a gift to my cousin Pablo López and his fiancée Ana Soto for their wedding day, is a journey through the French Pyrenees. Each of the parts that make up this trip is programmatic music, which accompanied my walks through this wonderful place. The language used is modal.
The piece was premiered at the wedding of Pablo and Ana in Murcia, in December 2008. The accordion technique was revised by Teresa Manzanero, professor at the Music Conservatory of Murcia.
